Yasmin El Fadili is an accomplished junior tennis player who hails from Tangier, Morocco. With a strong background in both academics and athletics, she is a standout student at Prairie View A&M University, where she majors in Chemistry. Yasmin’s passion for tennis is driven by her desire for personal growth, the opportunity to stay active, and the deep enjoyment she finds in the sport.

Yasmin is the daughter of Shannaedi and Youness El Fadili. Before joining PVAMU, she attended the American School of Tangier and Sam Houston State University. Her drive to succeed is fueled not only by her love for tennis but also by the mental challenges the sport presents. Yasmin understands that mental strength is as essential as physical ability in tennis, an aspect often overlooked in the athletic world.

A devoted athlete, Yasmin's most memorable moments are those shared with her family while traveling and competing in tennis. The encouragement and support they provide fuel her determination and push her to strive for her best. Outside of tennis, Yasmin enjoys sleeping, and her favorite food is Tex Mex. Among her hobbies, she values the time spent with family, especially during Christmas, her favorite holiday. The holiday represents unity and joy, as it brings her family together, despite their distances.

In terms of future aspirations, Yasmin aims to graduate with her degree in optometry in the next five years. She hopes to use her skills and knowledge to teach tennis to those who may not have the financial means to participate. Her dream job is to become an optometrist, a career that reflects her passion for helping others and her interest in health sciences.

Yasmin chose Prairie View A&M University for its camaraderie and positive community atmosphere, which she felt would support her both on and off the court. Her commitment to excellence, driven by her love for tennis and her academic ambitions, makes her a valued member of the PVAMU family.
