2009-10 (Junior):
Second on the team in scoring (13.8) and first in steals recording a total of 61 on the season…Played in 28 games, including nine starts…Finished the season earning three SWAC Player of the Week accolades and led the Lady Panthers to a Women’s NIT appearance against the University of Kansas…Led the Lady Panthers down the stretch season jumpstarted by an unstoppable performance against Grambling State (Feb. 15, 2010) in which she posted 31 points on 11-of-19 shooting, six boards, two steals and five assists…Followed with another outstanding showing against Mississippi Valley State where she posted 30 points, shot 56 percent from the field, pulled down eight rebounds, six steals and two assists…Scored a career-high 34 points against Alabama A&M (Feb. 27, 2010) while adding four steals and four assists…On the season, Smith shot 146-of-326 from the field, good for 44 percent…Led the Lady Panthers in three pointers made accounting for 26…Heavy contributor on the glass pulling down a total of 105 rebounds…Third on the team with 50 assists.


2008-09 (Sophomore):
Saw action in all 34 games, starting 21…Averaged 10.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game…Ranked first on the team and second in the SWAC in three-point field goal percentage shooting 41-of-110, good for 37 percent….Ranked first on team and fifth in SWAC in three pointers made…Connected on 134-of-315 shots from the field, good for 42 percent…Also knocked down 56-of-78 shots from the foul line, good for 71 percent…Finished the season with 54 assists, going over the 50-assist mark for the first time in her PVAMU career…Top 15 scorer in conference play with 10.7 points per game…Most notable game was when she scored 21 points in 29 minutes of play, while also recording a total of six rebounds against Alabama A&M…Set season-highs with 31 points against Alabama State and added three blocks and five rebounds…Posted double-double figures in 17 games…Finished the season as the third-leading scorer on the team…Posted a team-high 15 points in NCAA Tournament debut at Oklahoma.

2007-08 (Freshman):
Played in all 34 games…Averaged 18 minutes and 7.7 points per game in her debut season…Made an instant contribution as a freshman as she shot 38 percent from the field…Also knocked down 52-of-78 shots from the foul line, good for 71 percent…Finished the season with 24 assists while also contributing 68 rebounds…Ranked fourth on the team in steals with a total of 34…Scored a game-high 18 points in her debut performance against Stephen F. Austin…Recorded an outstanding shooting performance against Purdue with 19 points…Had a game-high 13 points versus Colorado State…Following game against Alcorn State recorded a game-high three steals…Had an outstanding defensive stand versus Jackson State adding four block shots…Scored a season-high 31 points while also adding three blocks against Alabama State…Found her way in the passing lanes versus Alabama A&M by posting a total of five steals.

High School:
A 2006 graduate of Orlando Christian Prep High School…Led OCP to an unbeaten season as they won the Class 1A state title…Named a Top 25 FloridaHoops.com player and Named Florida Association of Basketball Coaches First Team All-State…Scored a career-high of 39 points as a senior…Had 22 against previously unbeaten Rockledge…Recorded 14 rebounds, six steals and six assists in a week’s action.


Personal:
Smith was born March 22, 1987 in Vallejo, Calif…Majoring in Criminal Justice…Smith also goes by the name of Bird…She first hit the floor at the age of four…One word that best describes her is unforgettable…Smith’s personal goal is to lead Prairie View to at least five preseason wins and one more SWAC Championship and NCAA Tournament…Wants to be one of the top scorers in the country…After graduation Smith plans to go to New York.
