Brooke Addison is entering her sophomore year at Prairie View A&M University, bringing her enthusiasm for running and a commitment to personal improvement. Hailing from Houston, Texas, Brooke has a personal best of 23 minutes in the 5K and is determined to achieve a new personal record (PR) this cross country season.

Majoring in Biology, Brooke is dedicated to advancing both academically and athletically. Her goal for the season is to surpass her previous best times and continually push her limits. Inspired by her own drive and passion, Brooke finds joy in the process of getting in shape and working out, which motivates her to pursue her running goals.

Outside of running, Brooke enjoys painting and has a deep appreciation for Chiptole as her favorite food. Her favorite movies include "10 Things I Hate About You" and the "High School Musical" series, reflecting her love for engaging and nostalgic entertainment. Her birthday stands out as her favorite holiday, a day dedicated to celebrating herself.

Brooke’s most memorable sports moment was setting a PR in high school, a milestone she cherishes. Looking ahead five years, she hopes to achieve many more personal records and pursue a career in dentistry. She chose Prairie View A&M for its familiar campus environment, which offers a supportive setting for her academic and athletic endeavors. Brooke recognizes that overcoming laziness is a major challenge for athletes today, and she is committed to staying motivated and focused throughout her journey.
