What was your best score? What is your worst score?: How have you improved your scoring since then?: My worst score ever was 120, during my junior year of high school. My best score ever was 72, during my senior year of high school. I have improved my scoring by learning to enjoy the process.
People would never guess?: I can play 4 instruments and I can speak Spanish
What drives your passion for sports?; My competitive nature.
What do you believe are the greatest challenges for athletes today?: Balancing life with their respective sport. I believe athletes can get so caught up in their performance that they don't take time away from their sport to have that healthy balance. Finding other hobbies that don't include your sport like building better relationships with friends and family and finding other outlets of self care are very important. I believe later on, it wears on athletes and their mental health.
Tell us your most successful season in sports: My most successful season in sports was my senior year of high school. I improved drastically from the beginning to the end. From the start of my senior year I was averaging in the mid 80s and by the end of my senior year I was averaging a score of 75
What are the strengths you believe makes you a great athlete?: I am very competitive and persistent
5 years down the line, what do you wish to accomplish in your career?: I want to have finished a doctorate and eventually have my own practice
What's your dream job?: Physical Therapist
What made you choose PVAMU?: HBCU culture and getting to know more people of color
