Adison “Adi” Malone is a sophomore from Beaumont, Texas, majoring in Health at Prairie View A&M University. A graduate of West Brook High School, Adison was inspired by her parents to play soccer and discovered early on that the sport was not only a way to focus her energy but also a passion that became a core part of her identity. Soccer fuels her competitive spirit and mental toughness, and she values being part of a team and building connections through the game.

Adison’s most memorable moment in soccer was winning MVP in the all-star game, a testament to her hard work and skill on the field. She recognizes mental health and pressure as significant challenges athletes face today, with high expectations and comparisons often leading to anxiety and burnout. These obstacles only strengthen her resolve to push forward.

Off the field, Adison enjoys building Legos and cooking. Her favorite movie is Hidden Figures, and she loves spaghetti and barbecue. Christmas is her favorite holiday because she loves gift giving. Five years from now, Adison hopes to be accepted into a nursing program and on her way to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She chose Prairie View A&M for its strong community and passion.
