Prairie View A&M University Athletics

A native of San Diego, Calif., Romo-Lara came to Prairie View in 2011 as a incoming freshman with the Lady Panthers soccer team. She was a four-year letterwinner with the Lady Panthers. In her senior season in 2014, Romo-Lara played 1,780 minutes, which ranked fourth on the team. She was a key member of a defensive unit that helped lead the Lady Panthers to the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship match, and to the team's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament. She is a business management major, and will also pursue her teaching credentials during her postgraduate academic career.
