Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Dahjah Lewis, from Sabine, TX, is a junior majoring in Dental Hygiene at Prairie View A&M University. Transferring in from Lamar University, she joins the team as forward.

Her passion for soccer is driven by the support of her parents, Jason and Donyel Lewis, and was inspired to join the sport by Alex Morgan. One of her most memorable moments in the sport was scoring her 100th goal during her high school senior night. Dahjah identifies dealing with anxiety and balancing sports with academics as significant challenges for today’s athletes.

Outside of soccer, Dahjah enjoys traveling, shopping, doing nails, and cooking. Her favorite movie is Friday, and she loves hot wings, seafood, and pasta. Christmas is her favorite holiday, cherished for the time spent with family.

Looking ahead, Dahjah aspires to become a dental hygienist and continue traveling. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its vibrant school culture and the HBCU experience, which align with her personal and professional goals.
