Destini Twiggs, known as Des, is a freshman from San Jose majoring in Communications at Prairie View A&M University. Inspired by her brother, Destini’s passion for soccer is driven by team bonding, constant growth, and competition.

One of her most memorable moments was winning the CCS championship in high school. She believes working on mental strength is one of the greatest challenges athletes face today.

In her free time, Destini enjoys hiking. Her favorite movie is Daddy’s Home 2, and she loves pasta. Christmas is her favorite holiday because she gets to spend it with her whole family. Destini chose Prairie View A&M because she feels it’s a place to challenge herself and grow. Five years from now, she hopes to improve her game, continue playing soccer after college, and earn some awards. Her dream job is to become a forensic pathologist.
