Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Jasmari "Jazzi" Nolasco, a junior majoring in General Studies with a concentration in Mathematics at Prairie View A&M University, plays as an attacking midfielder. Her hometown is Ogden, Utah and her soccer career was inspired by her dad, who fueled her passion for the sport.

Prior to joining Prairie View A&M, Jazzi attended Lower Columbia College. One of her most memorable moments in soccer is reflecting on her growth and the wonderful memories she’s made with teammates and mentors.

Jazzi’s drive to play soccer comes from her faith, family, and a personal desire to challenge herself. Outside of soccer, she enjoys thrifting, journaling, and hiking. Her favorite movie is The Book of Life, and she loves the Mexican dish mole. She cherishes Christmas as her favorite where she enjoys quality family time.

Looking ahead, Jazzi hopes to earn her degree in mathematics or engineering. Her inspires to become an environmental engineer or a mathematics professor. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its strong engineering and soccer programs, its close-knit community, and the sense that it was the right fit for her aspirations.
