Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Kaarie Hutchinson is a freshman outside back for the Prairie View A&M women’s soccer team. A native of Mansfield, Texas and a graduate of Mansfield High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in marketing.

Kaarie’s passion for soccer was inspired by watching her brother play, which led her to develop a deep appreciation for the sport. She enjoys being part of a beautiful game and witnessing how every element of play comes together to create goals and victories. One of her most memorable moments was scoring a dramatic last-minute goal to tie the game during the ECNL Dallas Showcase.

She believes that some of the greatest challenges for athletes today include burnout and losing confidence, and she is committed to growing both as a player and as a person. Outside of soccer, Kaarie enjoys reading and is a fan of Marvel movies. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of the delicious food and time spent with loved ones.

Kaarie chose Prairie View A&M because of its welcoming environment and her desire to experience the unique culture of an HBCU. She looks forward to making the most of her time both on the field and in the classroom.
