PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Emily Bustos … Has two younger brothers … Is majoring in education.
2017 (15G/5S): Played in fifteen games and started in fifteen games, tallied 781 minutes of action, made six out of ten shots throughout the season, and averaged .200% per game. She had a career high of two goals against Southern University.
2016: Appeared in 17 games.....selected All-SWAC second team....scored one goal while taking 16 shots and six shots on goal.
2015: Appeared in all 19 of Prairie View A&M’s matches as a freshman, making 12 starts … Scored three goals and tallied one assist during the season … Tallied the assist on Alicia Cooper’s golden goal in the Lady Panthers’ double-overtime win at Howard (Oct. 11) … Scored two goals – including the match-winner – in Prairie View A&M’s 10-0 win over Alcorn State (Oct. 4) … Logged 1,007 minutes of playing time during the season … Made her first collegiate start in her home county, at the Lady Panthers contest at Texas State, less than a half-hour from Buda (Sept. 6).
PREP: Lettered all four seasons in which she played at Jack C. Hays High School under coach Cole Reynolds … Named the Offensive MVP for District 49-4A and led the Lady Rebels to district and bi-district championships during her junior season in 2014 … Earned All-District 49-4A Second Team accolades as a sophomore … Named District 49-4A’s Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2012 … Helped lead the Lady Rebels to the UIL Class 4A state tournament in each of her first three seasons … Also earned one letter in track and field at Hays, where she competed in the triple jump … Played seven seasons with the Lonestar Soccer Club in Austin, Texas.
