Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Nalonie "Nani" Allgeier is a sophomore majoring in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University, where she excels as a forward. Originally from Rancho Cucamonga, California, Nalonie’s love for soccer was sparked by her mother, Estrella Allgeier. She previously played for Rancho Cucamonga High School before joining Prairie View A&M.

Nalonie’s passion for soccer is driven by a desire to make her family and mom proud of the hard work she has put into the sport. One of her most memorable moments on the field was scoring the winning penalty kick that advanced her team past the first round of CIF.

Outside of soccer, Nalonie enjoys going to the beach, shopping, and celebrating Halloween with its fun vibes, corn mazes, and haunted houses. Her favorite movie is Princess and the Frog, and she loves any type of pasta, especially vodka pasta and fettuccine Alfredo.

Looking ahead, Nalonie hopes to pursue her master’s degree and a higher degree in her career. Her dream job is to own a clinic specializing in sports medicine. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its welcoming atmosphere and the sense of a home away from home, which was especially important as an out-of-state student.
