Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Juliana Hodge, known as Nani, is a redshirt freshman from Salt Lake City majoring in Public Health at Prairie View A&M University. She plays midfield and wears jersey number 10. Inspired by her dad, Juliana’s passion for soccer comes from the competition and her drive to improve mentally and physically every day.

One of her most memorable moments was winning State in high school during her junior year and celebrating with her team by running through the school while blasting “We Are the Champions.” Juliana believes mental health and balancing academics with athletics are some of the greatest challenges athletes face today.

In her free time, she enjoys music and painting. Her favorite movie is Hunger Games, and she loves mac and cheese. Christmas is her favorite holiday because of the snow and vibes. Juliana chose Prairie View A&M for the energy, people, and facilities. Five years from now, she hopes to be working as a licensed travel nurse, gaining experience across different hospitals and making a real impact wherever she goes.
