Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Nenah Jackson is a freshman goalkeeper for the Prairie View A&M women’s soccer team. Hailing from Mansfield, Texas, and a graduate of Mansfield High School, she is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.

Nenah was inspired to play soccer by the opportunity to try a sport she had not grown up around, embracing the challenge of something new. She is motivated by the desire to one day look back and be proud of all she has accomplished and overcome. One of her most memorable moments was winning the conference cup finals with her team.

Off the field, Nenah enjoys working out and bowling. Her favorite movie is Daddy Day Care, and she loves street tacos. Christmas is her favorite holiday because she enjoys giving gifts and seeing the happiness it brings to others.

Nenah believes that mental health is one of the greatest challenges facing athletes today. She chose Prairie View A&M for its welcoming environment, strong engineering program, and supportive coaches. She looks forward to growing both academically and athletically while contributing to the team’s success.
