Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Simone Sheridan is a senior from Schertz, Texas, majoring in Physics at Prairie View A&M University. Previously attending Utah Valley University, Simone was inspired to play soccer by her family and developed a deep love for the game. She plays driven by pure passion and the joy soccer brings to her life.

One of Simone’s most memorable moments was playing a soccer game with family and friends during winter break, highlighting the sport’s ability to connect people she cares about. She recognizes mental health as a significant challenge athletes face today and values the importance of maintaining balance and wellbeing.

Outside of soccer, Simone enjoys baking, reading, and aviation. Her favorite movie is Parent Trap, and she loves Sinigang. Ramadan is her favorite holiday because it brings the Muslim community together and encourages personal growth. Simone chose Prairie View A&M for its culture. In five years, she hopes to finish her master’s degree, become a private pilot, and travel. Her dream job is to work as an aerospace engineer and private pilot.
