Aubrey “Bre Bre” Goode brings energy, confidence and a strong sense of family to the Prairie View A&M volleyball program. The Austin, Texas native was inspired to play volleyball by her 12s coach and developed a passion for the game through her experiences competing at the club level.

Goode's favorite volleyball memory is her entire 16s club season, a time she looks back on fondly for the experiences and relationships she built along the way. If given the choice between an ace and a game-winning kill, she would choose the game-winning kill.

Her favorite pregame meal is Chick-fil-A, and she begins game day with prayer. Goode enjoys watching The Upshaws and considers Christmas her favorite holiday because it is a time centered around giving. Her teammates Charli and Tera are the ones who make her laugh the most.

Goode chose Prairie View A&M because of the coaching staff and the environment surrounding the volleyball program. She was drawn to a culture that feels welcoming and supportive.

To Goode, representing Prairie View A&M means representing a family while remaining true to herself. She takes pride in representing the culture and embracing what it means to be a Panther.

Goode believes social media and the tendency to compare yourself to others are among the greatest challenges facing athletes today. She encourages staying true to yourself while focusing on your own journey. Away from volleyball, her hidden talent is singing.
