Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Dieterlen brings a love for volleyball, a competitive spirit and a strong commitment to her teammates to the Prairie View A&M volleyball program. A native of Plano, Texas, Dieterlen has been around volleyball from a young age and considers the sport both a safe space and a place where she has grown tremendously as an athlete and as a person.

Dieterlen's passion for the game comes from competing at a high level alongside the people she loves. She values the relationships built through the long hours, hard work and laughs shared with teammates, viewing the family created within a team as one of the most rewarding parts of the sport.

Her favorite volleyball memory came while competing at nationals during her 17s season. If given the choice between an ace and a game-winning kill, Dieterlen would take the ace. Her favorite pregame meal is a Liquid I.V. paired with an avocado ranch wrap, while her favorite game-day tradition is the team's "pre-warm-up warm-up."

Dieterlen chose Prairie View A&M because of the unity she saw within the volleyball program and coaching staff. She was drawn to a team that appeared committed to working together toward the same goals.

Representing Prairie View A&M means being proud of where she comes from while giving her best both on and off the court. Dieterlen is determined to make her teammates and university proud while continuing to push herself to new limits.

Outside of volleyball, Dieterlen enjoys watching Yellowstone, Severance and Scandal. She especially enjoys Christmas and Thanksgiving because of the family time and joy surrounding both holidays. Her hidden talent is playing the piano, and she credits Kenedy as the teammate who makes her laugh the most.
