Julius Paxton Huff, also known as "Pax," is a junior outfielder at Prairie View A&M University, wearing jersey #33. Hailing from Plano, Texas, he is majoring in Management. A die-hard Texas Rangers fan, Paxton’s favorite movie is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and he loves steak, brisket, and eggs. His go-to walk-up song is Out the Hood by Gunna.

Paxton believes that one of the biggest challenges for athletes today is the mental and emotional toll that the sport can take, especially when it becomes such a central part of one’s identity. His most memorable moment in sports came when he hit his first-ever college home run, sending a fastball over the left-field wall. Looking ahead, he hopes to be close to making his major league debut within the next five years. Paxton's ultimate dream is to play professional baseball.

He chose Prairie View A&M because, upon visiting the campus, he immediately felt a sense of community and belonging. The campus environment made him feel right at home.
