The Prairie View A&M Panthers travel to San Marcos, Texas for the first time since 1991 to battle the Texas State Bobcats (5-4) in a non-conference on Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Stadium at 3 p.m.

Saturday's matchup marks the first meeting against Texas State since 1992 and 12th overall in the series.  Texas State leads the series 9-2 with Prairie View A&M's two wins occurring in 1976 and 1977.  The Bobcats are led by veteran head coach Dennis Franchione, who's in his second tenure at the school.

Prairie View A&M (4-4) is playing its fifth straight contest on the road and first contest back in the state of Texas since Oct. 1.  This also marks the team's first non-conference contest since playing Bethune-Cookman at the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Orlando, Fla. on Sept. 4

The contest will be broadcasted live by KPVU 91.3 FM beginning at 2:30 p.m. and video streamed live via the Texas State athletic website.

On Sunday, Nov. 6, a full recap of the game can be heard from head coach Heishma Northern and voice of the Panthers Leonard Moon on the Heish Northern show beginning at 4 p.m. on KNTH 1070 AM.
