GARLAND, Texas – The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team hits the court on Friday afternoon as they battle Grambling State at noon in the semifinal round of the 2011 SWAC Basketball Tournament at the Special Events Center.
Tomorrow's contest between both teams marks the first postseason meeting since 2009 and the second in five seasons. The Lady Panthers are back in the semifinal round after a one-year hiatus while Grambling State hasn't played in the semifinals since 2007. PV defeated GSU in both meetings this year with one of the games played in Dallas during the month of January.
