GAME NOTES
Prairie View A&M heads into Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan. at 2 p.m. on Sunday to face its first ranked opponent of the 2012-13 season in the No. 21 ranked Kansas Jayhawks.

The Lady Panthers pulled off two-consecutive upsets in dominating fashion, defeating Memphis and Northwestern State on the road by an average of 22 points. Prairie View A&M's Big 3, Latia Williams, Kiara Etienne and Larissa Scott hope to ride its momentum into another hostile environment and pick up its third win in a row.

Etienne, the rapid firing junior shooting guard out of Jennings, La., scored her third 20-point game of the season in Prairie View A&M's 63-31 win over Northwestern State on Dec. 4. She scored 22 points and shot 56 percent from the field. Her performance was complemented by do-it-all slashers Latia Williams and Jaquandria Williams, who scored 10 points and 12 points respectively.

Etienne leads Prairie View A&M in scoring with 15.8 points per game and Latia Williams has been stuffing the stat sheet with 14.8 points, nine rebounds and 3.7 assists. Scott is proving to be a dual threat in her second season, averaging nine points and 8.3 rebounds.
