In singles competition the No. 1 and the No. 2 for Prairie View A&M Brittany Harrell and Raven Lewis handled business against Xavier's Kourtney Howell and Amber Brown. Though she was pushed, Harrell maintained her composure for a 6-2, 5-7, 10-2 victory.
