The with only nine days until the season-opener against Lamar University, the Lady Panthers are beginning to put the pieces to the puzzle together as Prairie View A&M soccer coach Abe Garcia tweaks and makes adjustments.

For the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions of practice Garcia focused on goal keeping drills and team coordination.

“We're trying to build off of where we left off last season,” Garcia said. “We are going to continue to play our style of soccer and build on from there.”

Prairie View A&M will face off against Lamar at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 in Beaumont.
