th-ranked Saint Mary's 110-72 Wednesday night.

L.J. Westbrook led three Panthers in double figures with 13 points.

Zachary Hamilton each scored 12 for Prairie View A&M, which returns to action Saturday at Texas-San Antonio at 7 p.m.

PVAMU never led in the contest, but cut the deficit to two points six times in the first six-plus minutes before a 17-4 SMC run pushed the lead to double digits. The Panthers shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, committing only four turnovers, but trailed the hot-shooting Gaels 52-37 at halftime, as Saint Mary's shot 63 percent from the field, committing only two turnovers.

An 18-3 run in the second half broke the game open for Saint Mary's against the Panthers, who shot just under 45 percent from the field for the game, and committed a season-low eight turnovers in the contest. Â
