PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Prairie View A&M Panthers dropped their second game Saturday, falling 12-0 to host Arkansas–Pine Bluff.
Golden Lions pitcher C.J. Lewington allowed only two PVAMU hits en route to a seven-inning shutout.

Prairie View A&M pitcher
Edgar Sanchez absorbed the loss for the Panthers, giving up nine runs over five innings. However, fielding miscues (PVAMU committed four errors during the game) resulted in only three of Sanchez' runs being earned.
Joshua Williams and Jacob Columbo knocked two RBIs apiece for the Golden Lions. Williams hit a home run during the game.

Nick Gurka drew a walk and was hit by a pitch Saturday, which stretched his streak of reaching base safely to 13 games.
Darrien Williams saw his eight-game hit streak snapped.
The teams conclude their series Sunday at 1 p.m.
