GRAMBLING, La. – The Prairie View A&M University baseball team lost 6-1 at Grambling Friday night at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park.
 
The Panthers (10-22, 4-6) rapped out 11 hits but only scored once in the second inning.
 
In the inning, 
Steven Williams singled through the left side to open the inning, before 
Carson Lee walked. A doubled play moved Williams to third, and he scored on a single through the left side by 
Tyler Gordon.
 
Avery Williams, 
Carson Lee, and 
Brashad Jones each had two hits for the Panthers, who will face Grambling in a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
