HOUSTON – The Prairie View A&M University baseball team lost at #20 Houston 8-0 Wednesday at Schroeder Park.
The Panthers (3-13) managed five hits in the contest, led by
Nathan Carter's 2-for-4 performance at the plate.
Andrew Garcia,
Avery Williams and
Tyler Gordon each had a hit in the game.
The Cougars (8-3) scored a run in the first and broke the game open with a six-run second inning.
Prairie View A&M opens Southwestern Athletic Conference play Friday hosting Texas Southern at 3 p.m. at Tankersley Field.
