PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas –   The Prairie View A&M University soccer team faced the University of St. Thomas Friday night falling 2-0. 

With an engaged and energetic crowd, both teams showed intensity, PVAMU took 14 total shots and four shots on goal.  Reina Cruz led the team with two shots out of the four, Blair Lane and Diana Neff each had one shot on goal apiece. 

Lane led the team with five of the 14 attempted shots.

St. Thomas managed 10 shots on goals on the evening, eight of which were turned away by PVAMU's goalkeeper Clarissa Ledesma.

PVAMU will host Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Sunday for a 1 p.m. start at the PVAMU Soccer Field.
