JACKSON, Miss. - The Prairie View A&M women's bowling team will participate in its final fall bowling tournament at the JSU Sonic Boom Invitational, hosted by Jackson State over the three day weekend in Jackson, Miss.
The field will consist of all SWAC schools Alabama State, Alabama A&M, Grambling State, Prairie View A&M, Southern, Texas Southern, host team Jackson State and Conference-USA member La. Tech.
"This tournament will give us an opportunity to see conference teams early on," PVAMU head bowling Coach
Glenn White said. "This is a real good benefit for us, and also having La. Tech here, which is a high level team that will provide us with more experience, since we are a young team. We are still working in our young players and plagued with some injuries. I think we still will do pretty well."
The Lady Panthers will begin the first roll at 11 a.m., with a five game bakers match, and continue on Saturday at 9:35 for traditional play. The teams will conclude on Sunday with an 8:25 start in a best of 4 of 7 games.
