12/23/2018 6:50:00 PM

GLENDALE, AZ – Former Prairie View A&M wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge made a tackle on special teams for the second straight week as the Los Angeles Rams won at Arizona 31-9 Sunday afternoon.

Hodge saw action in his 13th straight game on offense and special teams as the Rams improved to 12-3 on the season.

Hodge made a tackle in the fourth quarter for the second straight week, as he also made a tackle last week against Philadelphia. Hodge now has four tackles on special teams in addition to two receptions for 17 yards on the season.

Hodge, who was signed to the active roster from the practice squad on Sept. 19, made his first NFL reception at Seattle on October 7 in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard catch with less than 10 minutes remaining, leading to a field goal. Hodge's second reception was a three-yard catch against Kansas City on Nov. 19 leading to a Rams' touchdown on Monday Night Football.

Earlier this season, Hodge made one tackle on special teams in games against the Los Angeles Chargers (Sept. 23) and against Green Bay (Oct. 28). He also saw action in games against Minnesota on Sept. 27, Denver on Oct. 14, San Francisco on Oct. 21, New Orleans on Nov. 4, Seattle on Nov. 11, at Detroit on Dec. 2, and at Chicago on Dec. 9.

Hodge played in all four preseason games with the Rams, starting the final two contests. He caught eight passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. After being released at the end of the preseason, Hodge was signed to practice squad in early September.

In 2017 for the Panthers, Hodge earned first-team All-SWAC honors, as well as Black College All-America accolades from both BOXTOROW and SBN/Power News Radio Network. Hodge was third in the SWAC in both receptions (48) and receiving yards (844), second in yards per catch (17.6) and first in touchdown receptions (12). In his three-year Panther career, Hodge caught 104 passes for 1,797 yards and 21 touchdowns.

The Rams, who have already won the NFC Western Division title, will conclude the regular season next Sunday hosting San Francisco and can clinch a first-round bye with a win or a loss by Chicago.
