LAKE CHARLES, La. – In Prairie View A&M women's tennis action, the Lady Panthers fell 7-0 to McNeese Friday, at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.

The Lady Panthers opened with doubles as the duo of Jimena Duran-Castellanos and Jessica Lackey completed their match first at the No. 3 position falling 6-1 to the Cowboys' team of Charoline Erlandsson and Phonexay Chitdara.

At the No. 2 and 1 positions both duo sets went 6-4, giving McNeese the doubles point.  Although Constanza Aranguiz was the last to finish in singles at the No. 3 position she finished the set 6-2, 6-2 falling to Hannah Brett of McNeese.

The Lady Panthers will be back in action on Saturday, when they face Seminole State in doubleheader action with the men's team.  The first set will begin at 2 p.m. in Dallas.
