PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas –  The Prairie View A&M women's tennis team closed out its home portion schedule falling in the dual match against Oral Roberts 4-1 on a cloudy cold afternoon at the PVAMU Tennis Courts Saturday.
 
PVAMU's duo of Naharika Rama and Constanza Aranguiz won PV's lone doubles match as they defeated ORU's Andrea Vasiljevic and Mariia Kuzminskaya 6-1 at the No. 1 spot.  The Golden Eagles were able to take two of the three doubles matches to secure the duals first point. 
 
In singles competition, all four matches were decided in straight sets with Oral Roberts claiming three of the four that were finished.  PVAMU's single victory came off the racquet of Timara Maxwell.  Maxwell downed Valentina Gisbert in the No. 6 singles match by the scores of 6-3, 7-5.
 
The Lady Panthers will conclude the regular season with a double header match against the University of Houston in Houston, on Sunday, April 8 with the first match starting at 11 a.m. and the second match beginning at 3 p.m. at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility.
