12/19/2019 7:14:00 PM

PRAIRIE VIEW - Prairie View A&M women's basketball concludes the road portion of its non-conference slate tomorrow when the Panthers head north to take on Wisconsin.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Friday from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.

Prairie View A&M (2-8) will try to halt a four-game slide in Friday's contest versus the Badgers. Most recently the Panthers dropped an 82-48 contest at Texas Tech this past Tuesday.

Senior Bernesha Peters had a strong effort despite the loss, as the Panthers' leading scorer netted 17 points against the Lady Raiders. Peters is averaging 11.1 points per game and also leads the Panthers in assists and steals per game at 2.5 and 1.9, respectively.

Kennedy Paul is in the midst of a nice freshman campaign, standing second on the team in scoring (8.8 points per game) and rebounding (4.2 rebounds per game).

Scouting the Competition:
- Wisconsin (7-3) comes into the contest having won its last two games. The Badgers are 5-0 in the Kohl Center this season.

- Imani Lewis leads Wisconsin with 12.8 points per game and is pulling down 6.8 boards a night. Abby Laszewski offers a strong inside presence with a team-best 6.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game to go with an 11.6 nightly scoring clip.
