Jaden Stewart had an impressive outing in the 52-3 loss to FBS ranked 16 Texas A&M Saturday at Kyle Field. Panthers claims 2021 Western Division Title.
In one of the toughest games of the season Stewart ran for his first career 100 yard game against the only highest-ranked FBS opponent this season.
The Panthers got a 25 yard field goal from
Luis Reyes in the bottom of the third quarter to give PVAMU their only score of the game.
Senior
Drake Cheatum led the Panthers defense with 12 tackles and one INT, while senior
Tre'Shaud Smith had seven tackles and one pass break up. Seven of Cheatums tackles were solo stops.
Next Up: The Panthers will prepare for two more contest starting with next Saturday's matchup against the Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley with a first kick set for 2 p.m. from Panther Stadium. PVAMU will travel to Jackson for the 2021 Cricket Wireless SWAC football championship on Dec. 4 from Veteran Memorial Stadium with a 3 p.m. start.
