- - Victoria Pearson leads the Lady Panthers with 64 kills. Malia Viernes is off to a stellar freshman season with 52 kills and 50 digs and seven block assists, and senior Tamaira Armstrong (50 kills) helps round out a balanced offensive attack. Miriam Cardoner and Jakarta Hope have combined for 216 assists and 109 digs.
- Last time out, the Lady Panthers took down TSU in four sets behind the efforts of Pearson, who accounted for 14 kills, eight service aces, three total blocks and two digs. Armstrong added 12 kills. Viernes posted eight kills and 12 digs. Skyla Childs led with 15 solo digs.

Scouting the Lady Tigers:
- Danielle Lilley leads Texas Southern with 31 kills, and Jada Hall was a factor in the teams' last meeting with nine kills, four blocks and three service aces.

- Aeris Ramsey (45 assists) and Alyssa Chudian (37 assists) form a strong playmaking tandem. Ramsey has factored in defensively with 41 digs on the season.
