PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The fields are set and four Prairie View A&M track and field student athletes are prepared to participate in the 2021 NCAA West Preliminaries hosted on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station.
Sophomore
Mia Heard is set to compete in the long women's jump Thursday, May 27 at 3 p.m. CT Freshman
Nathan Crawford-Wallis will be making his debut in the men's triple jump NCAA preliminaries at 3:15 p.m. CT on Friday, May 28th.
Seniors
Ja'Sha Sloan and
Kaizha Roberts who are no strangers to this circuit will make their appearances on Saturday, May 29. Sloan will open the afternoon in the women's high jump at 1 p.m., while Roberts will have a 3:15 p.m. start in the women's triple jump.
The qualifiers out of the each region will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
