NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Despite back-and-forth play Sunday afternoon at the SFA Soccer Field, Prairie View A&M came out on the short end of a 2-0 decision against Stephen F. Austin in their final non-conference scheduled contest of the season.

How it Happened:
The Lady Panthers missed out on several opportunities to score, allowing the Ladyjacks to score two unanswered goals in the second half of play, in the 69^th and 89^th minutes of play propelling them to a 2-0 win.  PVAMU fell to 2-2-2 overall.

Post-Game Notes: 

• Prairie View took 15 shots, four of which were shots on goal. 
• Four players took three shots a piece in the contest: Lesa Griffin, Sonia Fuentes, Andrea Nugent and Jojo Bernal.
• A. Nugent, Fuentes and Yahaira Owens had opportunities, but just could not punch the ball in the goal.
• Josiah Quinn had four saves

Prairie View A&M will return to action when they open Southwestern Athletic Conference play against Jackson State in Jackson, Miss., on Friday, September 24 at 3 p.m. on the JSU Soccer Field.
