BOX SCORE PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Prairie View A&M women's tennis team defeated Southwestern Athletic foe Grambling 6-1 at the PVAMU Tennis Complex Saturday.
 

• Victoria Fuenmayor Castillo and Mahongani Green had a 6-1 win in the No. 1 doubles spots, while also so earning a victory in the number two spot with the pair of Jada Hill/Gabrielle Leslie won their set to take the double point.
• With a 1-0 lead heading into singles, Leslie advanced the Lady Panthers lead to 2-0 with her 6-2, 6-1 win.  Hill captured her win in the three spot 6-4, 6-2, before Green got a 6-0, 6-3 win.  Castillo captured a victory in the two spot 6-4, 7-5.  It was Claudia Andrea Islas Medina went the distance to come out on top 6-2, 6-7, 10-6 clinching the win.
