LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Prairie View A&M baseball team's six game win streak was halted falling to McNeese State 7-2 during a midweek contest Wednesday night at the Joe Miller Ballpark.
How it Happened:
- The cowboys got on the board first scoring four runs in the bottom of the first. The Panthers responded with one run in the top of the second Brayden Johnson crossed the plate first for PVAMU.
- McNeese advanced their score to 5-1 in the bottom of the fourth and again in the bottom of the fifth for a 7-1 score.
- Prairie View added a final run in the top of the sixth on a Johnson two out RBI for a 7-2 score and a final in favor of the Cowboys.
- The Panthers could not get their offense going, but Johnson was able to go 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run. Joshua Larzabal received the loss on the mound pitching 4.1 innings striking out three.

Prairie View A&M will return to play when they host Texas Southern in a three game series, starting with a first pitch on Friday, April 8 at 3 p.m.
