HOUSTON, Texas --Sophomore Garrison Weiss went 0-for-4 with an RBI for the Prairie View A&M Panthers in an 8-4 loss to the Texas Southern Tigers on Tuesday.
Junior Michael Dews (2-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Prairie View A&M (8-18, 6-1). Sophomore Cody Smith was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings while allowing one hit, walking none, and striking out one.
Weiss led the way offensively for the Panthers, going 0-for-4 in the ballgame with a walk and an RBI.
