BIRMINGHAM, Ala. = Prior to the evening of the 2023 Southwestern Athletic Conference Basketball Championships in Birmingham, the league announced on Tuesday its post-season honors. 
 
Prairie View A&M' senior Guard Diana Rosenthal was selected to the All-SWAC first-team roster.  The awards were voted on by the conference's head coaches and sports information contacts.
 
Rosenthal, the St. Petersburg, Fla., put together an impressive season as the fourth-highest scorer in the league this season with 453 total points and an average of 15.6 per game.  After three complete years of playing with the Panthers Rosenthal has totaled 1,139 points, joining the 1,000 points club during the preseason portion of the season.
 
The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team will face Southern on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals at Bartow Arena in Birmingham.
