DALLAS, Texas -- Prairie View A&M fell 69-0 to SMU on the road Saturday night.
The Mustangs improved to 2-1 on the season while the Panthers dropped to 1-2.
Ronald Young Jr. totaled 32 yards to lead the Panthers' ground attack in the game, picking up 4.6 yards per carry along the way. Ahmad Antoine also tacked on 29 yards on the ground.
Khristopher Simmons reeled in three catches for 25 yards.
Warren Shankle showed out for the Prairie View A&M defense, recording one interception. Team added and Braelen Perry had in the loss.
The Panthers won the turnover battle in Saturday's game, forcing one turnover while avoiding any giveways.
Defensively, Prairie View A&M held up fairly well against the SMU rushing attack, holding the Mustangs to 177 yards on the ground.
