HOUSTON, Texas - The Prairie View A&M Panthers competed at the 47th  Annual Rice Invitational on Friday night.

Senior Zara Richardson, a transfer from HCU led the charge followed by freshman Maya Clark, Miracle Price a sophomore transfer from VSU, returning sophomore Laila Diaz, and Corlasia Scott a junior college transfer from South Plains CC.

Titilope Akinkunmi, Jessica Mingle, and Jasir Miler rounded out the field for the Lady Panthers as all contributed an outstanding performance as the team took 10th overall.

 The men's team also finished 10th overall with Thierry Garcon crossing the line first for the Panthers.  He was followed by Noah Green. Javier Gallegos, Kejuan Wilson who was followed by Cymon Shy.

The Panthers' next competition will be on Sept. 23rd at McNeese State.
