Prairie View A&M's Ayden Jones Named to Jerry Rice Award Watch List

This award highlights the top FCS freshman player of the year in NCAA college football's Division I subdivision, showcasing extraordinary talents at the beginning of their collegiate careers.

Jones, originally from Houston, Texas, has demonstrated outstanding prowess on the field this season. His remarkable performance includes achieving 12 tackles against Grambling and securing .5 sacks in the same game. Additionally, Jones made a significant impact with an interception against Northwestern State, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable player for the Panthers.

The Jerry Rice award will be be announced on December and honored on January 4 in Frisco, Texas at the Stats Perform National Awards Banquet.
