This non-conference regular season basketball contest saw the Panthers struggle to recover from a halftime deficit of ten points, despite a formidable comeback in the second half.
Prairie View A&M, known for their resilience, tied the game at 70 all with just over three minutes left on the clock, thanks to a crucial free throw from Nick Anderson. However, the Cardinals regained the lead shortly after and managed to keep the Panthers at bay until the final buzzer. Top performers for Prairie View A&M included Chauncey Gibson, who led with 24 points, followed by Tanahj Pettway and Nick Anderson contributing 16 points each.
