SAN ANTONIO, Tx --The Prairie View A&M Panthers put together an admirable performance on Saturday, but ultimately came up short, falling to the Lindenwood (MO) Lions by the score of 4-1.

Junior Halley Elizarraras (0-1) got the ball to start for Prairie View A&M (0-4) and took the loss. The right-hander went six innings, giving up four runs, one earned, on 11 hits, allowing two walks and striking out three. Senior Breanna Reyna was a bright spot for the Panthers, coming out of the bullpen and throwing one shutout inning, allowing no hits.
