PINE BLUFF, Arkansas --Prairie View A&M received contributions from every part of their lineup, as all nine starters reached base safely, helping the Panthers put eight runs on the board and beat the UAPB Golden Lions 8-2 Saturday.
Junior M. Krall (2-1) got the win for Prairie View A&M (10-10, 2-0). The right-hander went 6.1 innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on five hits, allowing three walks and striking out six. Senior V. Mendoza also pitched well, going 2.2 shutout innings while allowing two hits, walking two and striking out one.
