Lorman, Miss., --Senior Breanna Reyna was dealing on Friday, throwing a four-hit shutout to lead the Prairie View A&M Panthers past the Alcorn State BravesĀ 2-0.
Reyna (9-6) went the distance for Prairie View A&M (22-17, ), giving up four hits, walking two, and striking out three.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers took the lead for good in the first, scoring for the first time in the inning. Senior Biviana Figueroa put Prairie View A&M on the board with a two-out solo home run off senior K. Parker.
The Panthers then tacked on a run in the second inning to complete their scoring in the ballgame. That run came across on junior ArienĀ Talley's two-out solo home run off Parker.
