Prairie View A&M University's varsity soccer team faced a challenging defeat against the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) with a final score of 3-0. The game, held at the PVAMU Soccer Complex on August 22, 2024, saw the Cardinals dominate despite strong efforts from Prairie View A&M.

By halftime, UIW had established a 2-0 lead, maintaining their advantage and sealing the game with an additional goal in the second half.

Despite the setback, Prairie View A&M looks forward to recovering their stride in their upcoming match at the Mean Green Soccer Stadium against the University of North Texas on August 25, 2024.
