Men's and Women's XC Finishes 5th at 48th Rice Invitational

The Panthers and Lady Panthers XC teams competed today at the 48th Rice Invitational. Both teams faced high level competition, ultimately finishing 5th in their respective divisions overall.

The women's team was led by Lea Murphy, who completed the 4000m race with a commendable time of 15:37.20, earning her a 17th place finish. Close behind, Miracle Price also made a strong showing, securing the 23rd place with a time of 16:00.20.

On the men's side, Noah Green was the top performer for Prairie View A&M, finishing 21st with a time of 16:56.40. Kejun Wilson also fought hard, crossing the finish line in 29th place with a time of 17:32.80.
 
The teams will be taking a break next week and will be back on the road for their next challenge at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede on September 28, 2024 in Lake Charles, LA. The athletes and coaching staff are no doubt analyzing performances and strategizing ways to enhance their standing in the upcoming events.
